III-Nitride full-scale high-resolution microdisplays
We report the realization and properties of a high-resolution solid-state self-emissive microdisplay based on III-nitride semiconductor micro-size light emitting diodes (lLEDs) capable of delivering video graphics images. The luminance level of III-nitride microdisplays is several orders of magnitude higher than those of liquid crystal and organic-LED displays. The pixel emission intensity was ...
متن کاملSuper-high-resolution transfer printing for full-color OLED display patterning
Hongzheng Jin (SID Student Member) James C. Sturm Abstract — A transfer-printing method for the patterning of thin polymer layers is described. A hard stamp with a raised feature is brought into contact with a spin-coated organic film under elevated pressure and temperature to break the films. The patterned film is then transfer printed onto the devices. This method is used to print red/green/b...
متن کاملP-151: Color Filter Liquid-Crystal-on-Silicon Microdisplays
We present a color liquid-crystal-on-silicon microdisplay that integrates color filters on silicon for colors. Fabrication parameters, color purity and light stability of this breed of microdisplays were characterized. A single-panel WXGA color projector based on this color filter microdisplay technology was demonstrated.
متن کاملFast Anisotropic Edge Detection Using Gamma Correction in Color Images
In this paper we propose a new edge detector based on anisotropic linear filtering, local maximization and gamma correction. The novelty of this approach resides in the mixing of ideas coming both from directional recursive linear filtering and gamma correction. A peculiarity of our anisotropic edge detector is that it is based on the use of two elongated and oriented filters in two different d...
متن کاملColor Homography Color Correction
Homographies – a mathematical formalism for relating image points across different camera viewpoints – are at the foundations of geometric methods in computer vision and are used in geometric camera calibration, image registration, and stereo vision and other tasks. In this paper, we show the surprising result that colors across a change in viewing condition (changing light color, shading and c...
